Formation

Verb: 考える (kangaeru) → 考える + に際して → 新製品発表に際して、質問を受け付けます (When announcing the new product, we accept questions) I-Adj: 重要な (juuyou na) → 重要な + 時に際して → 重要な会議に際して、資料を準備した (At the time of the important meeting, we prepared materials) Noun: 退職 (taishoku) → [noun] + に際して → 退職に際して、感謝状をお配りします (Upon retirement, we distribute thank-you letters)
