Explain a regular habit, decision, or policy you've established for yourself or your organization.

Formation

Verb: 購入する → 購入することにしている → 毎月第一金曜日に購入することにしている
(kōnyū suru → kōnyū suru koto ni shite iru → maitsuki daiichi kinyōbi ni kōnyū suru koto ni shite iru)

I-Adj: 早い → 早いことにしている → 朝6時に起きることにしている
(hayai → hayai koto ni shite iru → asa rokuji ni okiru koto ni shite iru)

Noun: 報告 → 報告することにしている → 毎日午前中に報告することにしている
(hōkoku → hōkoku suru koto ni shite iru → mainichi gozenchu ni hōkoku suru koto ni shite iru)

Examples

  • Starting this month, we're implementing a new reporting system. Please make it a rule to submit by 10 AM daily.

  • Understood. I'll make sure to handle it first thing in the morning.

  • Good. I've decided to have you report the results at next month's meeting.
